Frequently asked questions
-
The 14-day Free Trial gives you access to the SquareKicker Extension and Compose on one website, with 500 AI credits to use during your trial. No credit card is required to get started. The Compose code editor is available on paid plans.
Once your trial has expired, your SquareKicker changes will be removed from your site, and the Extension and Compose will be disabled. Upgrade to any paid plan to continue working with SquareKicker and have your changes reapplied.

Solo is designed for anyone working on one website at a time. Designer and Agency plans support multiple active websites and include additional admin features for professional designers. Compare SquareKicker plans.
Every paid plan gives you access to the SquareKicker Extension, Compose and the Compose code editor. The amount of monthly AI credits and number of active websites included depends on the plan you choose.
-
Each subscription comes with a monthly allocation of AI credits for Compose. Credits are used when Compose generates a response, creates a design or helps you refine and fix your work. Using the code editor, previewing and applying designs, or switching between versions does not use credits.
Your included credits renew each month on your subscription date and do not roll over.
-
Yes. You can purchase extra credits at any time through Compose or your SquareKicker dashboard.
Extra credits are added at the account level, so they can be used across the websites and subscriptions connected to your account. They remain available for 12 months and are used after your monthly included credits.
-
The designs you have applied to your website with the SquareKicker Extension or Compose will remain in place after you cancel.
You will no longer be able to make further changes using SquareKicker, but you can reactivate your subscription whenever you need to continue working. Any unused monthly AI credits will remain on your account but can only be used while a subscription is active.
-
Yes, you can build your client's site using SK. This is best done using our Designer plan where you can design up to 10 websites at a time. This is the best value if you need more than 2 active sites.
When you are finished, you can either transfer this website to your client’s SK account or remove this site from your list of active websites. This works well for designers who offer ongoing support or for clients who prefer not to manage the site themselves.
For more information watch this video on How to manage your designer plan.

With an active SquareKicker subscription, blocks, sections and pages can be duplicated within a website while keeping their Extension customisations. Extension-customised sections can also retain their edits when saved using Squarespace’s saved sections feature.
Designer and Agency plans include Account Saved Sections, allowing you to save Extension-customised sections to your SquareKicker account and reuse them across different websites.
Compose designs are not automatically retained when sections are saved or duplicated. However, you can select the new block or section and ask Compose to recreate the design.
-
Yes, you can copy the design’s code from the Code Editor and paste it into a new Compose design on another website. You will need an active SquareKicker subscription on both websites to access the Compose code editor.
Because each website is structured differently, the copied code may not work immediately. You can select the relevant elements on the new site and ask Compose to adapt the design to them.
